29th April 2016 – NEW Neurology Focus Packs

Public Health England’s and NHS England’s RightCare team has now released its new ‘neurology focus packs’ tailored to each individual clinical commissioning group (CCG). The new packs provide a range of neurology data tailored to each local CCG, including breakdowns of spending on elective and non-elective admissions, some condition-specific information on admissions rates, and an ‘opportunity table’ which identifies the best opportunities for improving value and outcomes locally, using comparable CCGs.

All the focus packs are available via the Commissioning for Value website at the following link:https://www.england.nhs.uk/resources/resources-for-ccgs/comm-for-value/.

To download the packs, follow the links to the different commissioning regions.

MND Charter

The MND Association has launched themndcharter

Achieving quality of life, dignity and respect for people with MND and their carers

Until there is a cure for MND, what matters most is that people with MND receive the right care, in the right place at the right time. This is the vision of the MND Charter.

The Alliance will be supporting our Cumbria MND groups to call on councils to adopt the MND Charter to help influence positively the lives of people living with MND in their community.

Together we can make a difference to people with MND and their carers.
