We have agreed out meeting dates for 2015. All meetings are open and include a speaker on an issue important to people with neurological conditions.  The committee meet at 10.30 am followed by the speaker at 11.30 am

Thursday May 14th Committee meeting 10.30 am followed by presentation from Katherine French Parkinson’s UK on the national Excellence Programme at Jubilee House, Eamont Bridge Penrith

Chance for Life dinner Wednesday June 24th   followed by Conference on Thursday June 25th

Thursday July 9th Committee meeting 10.30 am followed by Judith Wilkinson on the introduction of the new Benefits system at Carlisle Fire Station.

Tim Evans Associate Director of Operations, Specialist Services Care Group, and Elspeth Desert Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Director both from Cumbria Partnership NHS Foundation Trust will present feedback from the recent scoping and mapping of services within Cumbria for patients with neurological difficulties.  This is an open meeting so please encourage members to attend.  It is vitally important that your comments are considered to enable the best possible service to be given to Cumbrian residents.

Thursday November 12th Committee meeting 10.30 am followed at 11 am by Dr Vincent Foxworthy Headway North Cumbria speaking at A Chance for Life, Penrith on acquired brain injury.

Committee meeting 10.30 am followed at 11.30 by Wiltshire Farm Foods giving a presentation with items to try on the special diets they prepare at Penrith Hub.
